Hey all...
I turn 24 today, turkey and cake.
Comments screened for my personal entertainment: If you could give me ANYTHING for my birthday, what would it be? What made you choose this?
Part two ...
What one thing would you change about me? Why?
Done. You don't have to post this anywhere and if you want to send your comments anon that's fine, you're still awesome. Remember again that all comments are screened so I'll be the only one to see it.

Did you ever get the feeling that the universe is leaning? It's accelerating, it will never stop Did you ever wonder if the number one divide by zero Is infinity and if that's the case then what? If imaginary numbers are abstractions of the real thing Then could someone make the clock of time stop? If we were always meant to be together like forever Than it must have been a future shock
I look back, see the bridges I've burned. The pain I've caused people now hits me ten-fold, I'm sorry to everyone I've ever treated poorly or made a bad decision in our friendships. Knowing now there's nothing I can do fix the past, I have to look forward. Things are different now; I'm never burning another bridge.Current Mood: depressed

I know how to make Chinese food, better than Chinese restaurants... Why is that? =P (Don't believe me?! Come visit and I'll show you.)
September is filled with important birthdays, which makes me wonder what I'll be getting everyone.
Why is it that I'm not only always welcome, but people want me around... Yet, I'm always lonely?
Why is it we all have something we learn just a little too late to make a difference?
Why is it we care, even if it's not returned?
When did they think it would be a good idea to make MEATLESS BACON?! |

So here's what you get...
A PLACE... WHERE NOBODY DARED TO GO THE LOVE THAT WE CAME TO KNOW
THEY CALL IT XANADUUUUU!
Sorry, that was uncalled for.Current Mood: giggly

I've been gone from this for too long, so here's the low down.
My laptop was stolen about a month ago and I have just recently been able to get on the internet again. I've been working and it's been a lot of fun. A lot of mixed emotions in my life right now, but they're helping me out in a lot of ways. I've changed, for the better, it's that simple. If I haven't seen you in a while, I want to. I was in Germany for EF this past weekend, it was a lot of fun. If you want to hang out when I have a layover near you, let me know. That's it, hope all is well.

If I know you and you live in the London, UK area and want to hangout or something today, let me know. Otherwise it's going to be an all-beer day. This is a one day offer only, seeing as how I leave tomorrow morning.

| » TRAINING FLIGHT #1 GO! |
As week two of training comes to a close, my first training flight is on saturday. My destination is...

Philly!
Haha, sorry if you live there, my layover is only 2:20 so I won't be able to leave the terminal, maybe for a cigarette, but that's it. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to this flight and I'll let you all know how it goes.
PS. There a mock-up of a 747 with operational galleys and light systems here, we had class in it yesterday and it was awesome!

| » Flying and careers and customer service, Oh my! |

I've officially secured a job offer as a flight attendant with United Airlines! My training starts on April 23rd in Chicago and I will be relocating to my domicile in Washington DC after 7 weeks. After that I will be flying on reserve until further notice, probably for 2 years, with 11 days off a month. That will give me plenty of time to come visit some of you during my off days. It feels so good to have a career starting that I'm really interested in and feel like I could do forever. Thank you everyone for your support through the interview process, I couldn't have done it without all of you.
Unfortunately, now I will not be in Detroit for DEMF, I'll still be training in Chicago, so I apologize for all of you who had plans and whatnot to see me during that time, but it's not going to be possible, and will be the first DEMF I'll be missing since it's inception. But, there are more important things to do and there is always next time.
Well, I'm out... I'm going to my brother's LaCrosse game (He plays for U of M) tonight and having dinner with my parents afterward, take care all.

| » Yay |
Hey all, I just got out of a steam bath and I thought I'd make a post. First off my interview process with United has been flawless so far, I have another interview at their world HQ soon, more to come on that after the interview. The first interview was awesome and actually kind of fun, except having lacked sleep to a great extent at that point. So it's back to Chicago with me. If I do end up getting this job I will probably end up in DC, to work the European int'l flights. Im other news I have calls back from 2 other places in case that falls through, or if all else fails, I could just move to Florida. Anyway, just want to say life is good, I have dinner at Greektown casino tomorrow, and maybe be playing a little poker, who knows. =)
Also, a shout out to wolvenloser for coming out tonight, it was a blast. We giggle when we go fast, apparently.
Anyway, I'm going to get to bed, I have to take my little brother (of whom I am currently watching until my mother gets back in town.) to school in 5 hours.
Take care all.

Dear Santa...
Dear Santa,
This year I've been busy!
In November I pulled laceaurora's hair (-5 points). In April I stole dariusdetiger's purse (-30 points). Last week I gave rynden a kidney (1000 points). Last Monday I bought porn for ty_da_wuff (-10 points). Last Wednesday I signed my organ donor card (28 points).
